Custom Design · Reverse Engineering · Functional Parts

Designed to spec.
Engineered to perform.

I design custom parts to your specifications, reverse‑engineer existing ones from a physical sample, and create original functional designs of my own. Delivered as a CAD model, an engineering‑grade print, or files ready for a machine shop.

What I Do

Three specialties, one design desk

Most projects start as a model. Some stay a model, some become an engineering‑grade printed part, and some become drawings for a machine shop. You choose the outcome — I make sure the design is right for it.

SVC 01

Design to Spec

Commission a custom part from your idea, drawing, or requirements. Clean, manufacturable CAD — delivered however you need it.

  • From a sketch, spec, or rough concept
  • Parametric, manufacturable models
  • Delivered as model, print, or machine‑ready files
  • Not everything has to be printed
SVC 02

Reverse Engineering

Ship or bring me a part and get an accurate, editable CAD reproduction — to remake it, improve it, or adapt it.

  • From a physical sample (shipped or in person)
  • Accurate, measurable CAD geometry
  • Reproduce as‑is, repair, or improve
  • Output a printable or machinable model
SVC 03

Original Functional Designs

Functional parts I design and release on Cults3D — printable in engineering‑grade materials, or customized to your needs.

  • Original, useful, functional designs
  • Published and downloadable on Cults3D
  • Engineering‑grade material options
  • Request a custom variant or size

How It Works

Consult first, then build

Every commission starts with a conversation so the scope, materials, and price are clear before any modeling begins.

01

Consult

Email, video, or in person — share your idea, drawings, or a part.

02

Quote

Scope, approach & price agreed up front.

03

Design

Modeled to spec, or reverse‑engineered from your part.

04

Review

You review the model; revisions until it's right.

05

Produce

Print it, keep it as a model, or send it to a machine shop.

06

Deliver

Finished part and/or files, ready to use.

Materials & Make

Built in engineering-grade materials

I build functional parts to hold up in real‑world use, and I'll run nearly any filament on request. I just lead with a couple that perform.

How I Work

Designed right, made to last

The design is the deliverable. Whether it ends up printed, machined, or simply handed over as a clean model, the value is in engineering judgment — the right geometry, materials, and tolerances for the job.

01

Built for function

Functional parts in PA612‑CF15 and PETG Tough — engineered to perform under real‑world use.

02

The model is the asset

Not everything needs to be printed. A solid, editable model stands on its own — to keep, print, or machine later.

03

Honest scope

If 3D printing isn't right for your part, I'll say so and point you toward machining or another route.

Ways to Start

Pick how you'd like to begin

Every path starts with a no‑pressure consult — by email, video call, or in person.

Commission a Design

Share an idea, drawing, or spec and request a consult and quote.

Reproduce a Part

Ship or bring a part to be reverse‑engineered into editable CAD.

Remodel Your File

Provide a 3D model for alterations or a full remodel.

Request Material Specs

Get engineering specs for the materials I commonly work with.

Request a Consult

Tell me about your project.

Share your idea, drawings, specs, or the part you'd like reproduced. I'll follow up to set up a consult — by email, video call, or in person — and scope a quote.
